The Ceiling Drywall needs to be replaced in my gaming room, so I had to store/cover everything temporarily. Any tips to further prevent drywall dust from ruining everything?

Here are some before and after pictures. I used some thick black trash bags to cover the TV stand and my game bookshelves. I taped the bags to the shelves just to be safe.
I do believe the repair crew will be putting tarps up to cover everything, but I wanted to be safe... just wondering if anyone had any additional advice. Unplugging all my consoles and moving everything would be safer, but I don't have the time/energy to do that sadly haha

If you were really that serious about it...the smart & safe thing is to do is to move everything out of the room and not be lazy. Taping things over and then bragging about how lazy you are is attention seeking behavior.
Drywall dust is like cocaine, it gets absolutely everywhere and you'll be finding it forever.
If one of those guys Falls over while he's hanging a sheet of sheetrock or breaks a pipe, your plastic bags taped to the wall are going to do nothing other than be great pictures for an insurance claim that's going to get denied...if you even have insurance.
1/10. Do it over

Thanks for the tips! Unfortunately, I don't have the time to fully move everything out, as stated. If that was a possibility, I would have done so instead of making this post.
I feel confident that the bags are securely taped to the shelves (not the walls) but I will take a few minutes to fully tape over any gaps to make it an air-tight seal. Appreciate the advice!

As someone formerly in drywall. I was gonna say this also, unless moved out of that space, dust will get everywhere

There is not much you can do other then move everything, but with everything covered and they will cover everything also, if they are professional they will make sure to keep the dust at a minimal level and use dust filters in the Vacuum's
You could install a couple of exhaust Fans... ?
How humid is it where you are at.... Wrapping in Plastic can induce moisture, covering in some microfiber Towels will keep them dust free and dry
Everything should be good to go..If you have concerns about dust getting into your stuff.... Do a full on clean of everything after the Drywall has been replaced...Compressed air recommended

Thank you for your insight! I have some large windows in the room, I'll ask if they can put fans in the windows to circulate the dusty air out. And I hadn't thought of humidity! They should be finished with the fix within a day, and it isnt too humid, but just to be safe I'll put a bunch of silica gel packets in the shelves to help keep moisture out. I appreciate the reply! :)

It's possible to get very wide painter's tape. Get a roll and seal that all up.
